Don't miss the annual swap for backcountry and cross country equipment.  Bring your old equipment to the Salt Lake REI on Thursday or Friday evenings from 6 to 8 pm.  There is a $2 per item charge and 20 percent commission on the sale price.  All proceeds go to the Friends of the Utah Avalanche Center to fund avalanche forecasting and education in Utah.  The sale is from 9 am to 2 pm and unsold equipment and sales proceeds pick up is on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm and Monday from 6 to 8 pm.  For more info, contact friends@utahavalanchecenter.org
